Control

Punk & post-hardcore

No Control is a raw, high-voltage punk and post-hardcore band built on volume, urgency, and zero apologies.

Formed in a rehearsal room in 2012 near the beaches of San Diego, the four-piece group came together after years of playing in various short-lived local bands that never quite hit the right nerve. What started as late-night jam sessions fueled by cheap beer and shared frustration quickly became a full-time obsession. The name wasn’t chosen for marketing—it was a statement. No Control isn’t about polished image or radio-friendly restraint. It’s about the moment when everything snaps and the only option left is to turn the amps up and lean into the chaos.

Lyrically, No Control deals in disillusionment, everyday rebellion, and the quiet rage of people who’ve had enough of being told how to feel. There’s no manifesto, just songs that hit hard and leave the room a little louder than they found it.

They don’t do the soft sell. They don’t do the slow build. They show up, plug in, and make sure you feel it.
